Latest Favorites for Skincare/Bath + Random Stuff!

You know you can't resist cosmetics sold in cute little pepper-shaped tubes marketed by sexy Asian menz with blonde hairz. o.o;;

Whew, I totally had two huge projects and a test this week. BLAH. The test was today and I feel....okay....about it, haha. That's all I am gonna say because everytime I think I did well on an exam, I ended up doing poorly...and everytime I think I did shitty on a test, it's like BAM, I ended up doing well. O_o;

Anyway!

So today I just wanted to mention some random stuff...I have been using Baviphat's products a LOT lately and let me say...I am IN LOVE. I'll do another post after this (hopefully! LOL!) with more in-depth thoughts on a few of their different products. Here are the ones I am currently using.

Currently Using
- Magic Girls BBcream fresh for oily skin
- Strawberry Detox Mask
- Peach Peeling Gel
- Apple AC Sleeping Pack
- Fruity/Jelly(?) Lip and Cheek Tint (jar has no label on it? LOL.)

On the Way
- Magic Girls BBprimer fix (sample of this sold me!)
- Paprika Pore Solution Toner
- Paprika Pore Solution Essence/Serum
- Paprika Pore Solution Moisturizer
- Peach Sebum Solution Compact in 01 Light
- Apple Lip Scrub

Wishlist
- Lip stuff (more jelly tint!)
- Cheek stuff (blushing girl powder)
- Sheet masks (anything but the Snail stuff! LOL!)

Plus I have a ton of samples I've yet to try. x3 (OH GOD, please excuse that icky hair in that photo...gah. I never notice those things until it's too late!)
Samples are what got me into Baviphat in the first place. I was trying BBcream from an eBay seller and then they sent me some of the Baviphat AC Apple Sleeping Pack as a bonus and I was hooked when I tried it! My face was SO clear. :3
Currently hooked on the Paprika stuff which is why I bought moar of it. Hehe! I got some Tony Moly samples too but I didn't like them near as much as Baviphat...I somehow thing that their suuuuper cute packaging has something to do with that, haha. Totally lures ya in! But at least their product DELIVERS! :D

Pics and some randomness behind the cut! :3

Baviphat is coming out with (already came out with?!) cute new make-up bags! OMG! I dunno about you but I really dig on #04 and #09!! :)

LUSH--OMG!

I have an interview with LUSH this Sunday. I am sooooooo excited. :3 I love that store and working there would be like a dream come true even though I already have a part-time job as an intern.... I would die for the product discount too, haha. (Gorgeous facial moisturizer for less? W00T W00T!) And getting to play with their products all day and showing ppl how to use them. Omg. So much fun. haha.

Also I tried some of their new 'secret' products that came out on the British site. Specifically these:

- Dirty Soap
- Rose Jam Bubbleroon
- Ro's Argan Body Conditioner
- Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb
- Rose Queen Bath Bomb
- Dream Steam Toner Tab (was expensive but I plan to save it in a spray bottle to make it last!)

Want to try this ASAP: Lustre Body Shimmer, scented like the Lust perfume! :3

Had to order it all from the UK but the shipping was surprisingly affordable. I just regret not getting any free samples in my box. ;___; They tossed in a LUSH times though! :)

Reviews forth coming!!

I just organized my shoe "collection" haha:

Crazy huh? @___@; It's scary to think I own so many shoes. But what can I say, I love them? This is like 4+ years worth of buying shoes, and I still have a few more pairs at my other home. :3 I donate to Goodwill when I can and sometimes I end up having to trash a well-loved pair. My Japanese loafers are suffering this fate and I hope I can rescue them before they have to be trashed! :'(

******

TIGHTS! From ICING! :)

My most worn pair, they look AWESOME with Dolly Kei. :)

Got grey tights too <3!

And these awesome black with flocky stuff:

I love Icing and Claire's! (Owned by same company.) Do you all have a favorite accessory or tights shop? These stores sell lots of cute necklaces too. If any of you international gals who read my blog want any cute stuff but you don't have a Claire's or Icing in your countries, just let me know what you're looking for and I can get it for you, no extra charges, just pay for the item + shipping. :) I am more than willing to shop for you too if you just want, say, a cute animal necklace or something and you're open to a surprise, haha. :D
I love shopping! >_<;;

Moar random:

New bedding set I got on Overstock. Damn, I love that site. So friggin' cheap!

******

Last random note...I've been listening to SO much girly-pop music lately. What's up with that?! xD Guilty pleasure... :3

Demi Lovato <3 I just ordered her new album. xD
She is sooo beautiful, and I totally love her make-up in that movie. Shame she struggled with eating disorders...I can totally relate though. :-/ I think a lot of young girls can. Take care of yourselves!! <3<3<3
And keep rockin' on. :)

xoxo

PS: Coming up next time!

More cosmetics reviews - Geek Chic Cosmetics, Purely Cosmetics, Morgana's, and more! :)
ALSO: Planning to order and review more Fyrinnae samples in the near future as soon as they open again! Here's to hoping they come back soon! >_<;; I love them! And I can't live w/o my Rapunzel Had Extensions! :3

I got a new pair of JC shoes the other day and I wanted to see if they matched my Alice and the Pirates Beauty and the Rose Promise dress. :D

And here is the rest of it.

WTF Eyeko?!

Oh gosh, it's been a while!

I am so sorry, dear readers! There *are* some readers left out there, right?
*shouts*.................*echoes*.................

*cricket chirp*

Damn!

I better clean the cobwebs off of my blog and get to posting some fall trends! I am super excited for all of the new stuff coming out. I've purchased some new cosmetics recently that I want to review as well as some clothing and new JC shoes. :3 Just a hint of what's to come, hopefully!

I am entering my final year of college as well as having my boyfriend move in with me...plus working at my internship. Crazy stuff! I MIGHT be getting a job at LUSH too if all goes according to plan. And for that, I am hella excited! :3

But let me direct your attention to the title of my post.

WTF Eyeko Cosmetics?!

I went to their site today to see what is new and omfg they changed EVERYTHING. The layout. The products. The packaging. And I really don't like this new look but maybe that's just me!! Where is the pink? The cute? The frilly? The animu-ish inspiration? BAW.

Just meh!! I don't like it one bit, haha. But I guess I should try the new improved stuff before I rag on it. I think the number one aspect of Eyeko's sex appeal to women (bear with me here lol) was the supa kawaii packaging. D: Meh!! I feel the same way about Jelly Pong Pong too, lol.

Anyhoo. I guess I shouldn't bash them as an ambassador, lol, but I feel like they're trying too hard to be "cool" and "trendy"...or maybe just more "pro" looking? Which makes no sense because there are cute and funky brands like Jelly PP, Too Faced, and especially Benefit (I'm looking at you!) with similar packaging. I really miss Eyeko's manga thing too. It was so cute. D: Well I guess I will wait to see what the new products are like before I judge.

Click the cut below for a screenshot of their site. Blah! Who is with me on this one? xD

How to Liz Lisa for less!

Photobucket

OK first of all, I am sorry for lack of updates. My new internship has got me so busy!
I feel a little guilty because now a lot of my posts are starting out that way, haha.
But anwyay, time for a (hopefully) informative post!! :D

Oh and the above art was found on google images! If anyone knows who did it, please tell me! I love it! Also if you're the artist and want me to remove it, I can do that. I just thought it was so lovely and captures the Liz Lisa aesthetic so well! :3

Soooo.....Are you a fan of the gal brand Liz Lisa? Do you adore floral prints, lace, denim, ruffles, cute designs, girly, ultra-feminine gyaru looks? I'm pretty much addicted to Liz Lisa and I love wearing their style. But I only own about 3 actual items from Liz Lisa!! So how do I wear their ultra cute hime-kei coords without owning their brand itself? Easy! I just go to local shops and try to find similar items. And a lot of the stuff Liz Lisa is putting out is pretty easy to find in the US or other countries in stores like Forever 21, Wet Seal, etc. Even Claire's is a great place to go for accessories that would match up quite well with Liz Lisa style. Below, I will provide some basic shopping tips and photos of the loot I'd snagged from various shops so you can see how easy it is to replicate the look!

Oh and I am aware that a lot of the stuff I have found is more on trend with last season's stuff by Liz Lisa but I meant this to be a general guide...plus I wasn't super crazy about the French boho stuff they put out for Spring/Summer so maybe that's why, haha.

Without further ado! :)

What to look for?

Florals
Lacey
Whites
Faux Leather
Browns, neutrals
Ruffles
Laser-cut patterns
Western
Straw Hats
Denim (jackets, shorts...)

Remember: girly, cute, feminine, lovely!

Here's a photo of all of my Liz Lisa-esque items. NONE of these are real Liz Lisa. Just stuff I found from various shops!

Stores:

Forever 21
Wet Seal
Papaya
H&M
Claire's
Local boutiques
Online stores! (DreamV Rakuten, Modcloth, Missguided.co.uk, boohoo.com, ruche, more!)
Thrift stores are great too. :)

Maxi dresses! Thankfully they're trending now in general so they're pretty easy to find.

Photobucket
Floral maxi from Missguided.co.uk

Photobucket
This floral maxi is from Modcloth.com

Here's a closeup of the fabric!

Lovely!

Photobucket
This one is from DreamV shop on Rakuten. :3

Dresses:

Photobucket
Floral chiffon dress from Rakuten DreamV. One of my most-worn gal dresses. It reminds me a lot of Liz Lisa's actual stuff though the quality isn't the best!

Photobucket
White lace dress from Forever 21...I love this! It works great for layering with mori girl too. :3

Photobucket
Floral dress with long sleeves from boohoo.com, a British fashion site. The long sleeves are great for that awkward period between winter and spring when it gets randomly cold outside. =__=;

Photobucket
Long white lace dress from Missguided.co.uk. Looks awesome with a belt!

Jacket:
Photobucket
A denim jacket from H&M. Truly a staple of my Liz Lisa-style wardrobe. It looks great over a floral maxi or any cute dress!

Skirts

Photobucket
Camel colored laser cut Western-style skirt from Missguided.co.uk. I am in love with this skirt. It's amazingly soft too and fits right in with the Liz Lisa aesthetic. :3

Photobucket
Floral skirt from Wet Seal. Made of the SAME exact fabric my real Liz Lisa dress is made of!

Some shoes I like to wear with my coordinates:

Leftmost two are Jeffrey Campbell (Mariel and Suave) and then Forever 21, and Wet Seal.

Photobucket
These Jeffrey Campbells were purchases second-hand on eBay. eBay is a great place to find cheap JC shoes, if you are loving the trends and styles but don't want to shell out $150 for a new pair!

Accessories!
Cute and feminine... lots of pearls, crosses, and flowers.

Photobucket

Watches and Bracelets
Photobucket
Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Modcloth, MA*RS. (Yes I know not Liz Lisa but it works well with Liz Lisa outfits!)

Rings
Photobucket
Mostly from Claire's / F21.

Earrings
Photobucket

Necklaces
Photobucket
Forever 21, Claire's, eBay...
Belts!
Photobucket

Photobucket
First three on left (in the middle) are from Love Culture. The pinkish belt is from Papaya and the white one on the end is from Love Culture. The top belt is a real leather belt bought from a girl on morigirl sales comm on LJ, and the bottom belt (my most worn belt!) is a Western-style belt purchased at Icing (owned by Claire's) last summer. :3

Bags
Photobucket
Western-y bag from Missguided.co.uk

Photobucket
Brown Laser Cut Western Style bag from Claire's

Hats
Photobucket
Can Can hat from eBay - Korean Seller (though I have a similar one from Claire's too.)

Photobucket
Western Hat from Wet Seal!

Here's one of my favorite coordinates!

Finally, I leave you with a cute picture of my Alpaca stuffed toys!
:3

Thanks for reading! Hope some of you found this useful! :D

Number One Hair Product!! (that you can't live without!)

Wow, I am really a bad blogger...I keep neglecting my poor blog! ;___;

The reason why is mostly because I recently started an internship!! YAY! It's at an aerospace company in the county and it's a really long drive just to get to work each morning! So I have to get up super duper early just to drive there and by the end of the day I am totally exhausted. =___=;;

But I have time now for a quick update so here we go!

I've done a lot lately...sold some stuff, bought some stuff, lost some weight (<3!), etc... I bought two new lolita dresses and I sold a whole lot of my old sweet stuff. I got some vintage dresses from shops in a town called Columbia, MO which is where my roommate is from (but we live in St. Louis city together.) It's about a 2 hr drive to get there plus or minus, but she goes home every so often to see her mom! ^^ We explored town (more like I explored town) and snagged some cute dresses. I am too tired to take and upload pics now but that will come later, I promise! For now, I was wondering, readers... what is your Number One Hair Product? As in your ABSOLUTE favorite? Can't leave home without it? Need it in order to have a "good" hair day? Well for ME.... mine is definitely, hands-down a product by the company Kenra called Silkening Shine Gloss!

It is AMAZING. Seriously. You apply a little dab to slightly damp-ish hair and rub it in, then use your hair dryer as normal. The heat activates the formula and makes your hair suuuper soft, glossy (without being greasy!) and it smells AMAZING. Functional and delightfully good smelling at the same time. What more could you ask for? :D

My second favorite is probably R&B by LUSH!

It smells positively delicious too and leaves your hair so soft but you have to be careful not to use too much or it will make your hair heavy and gunky and oily! >_<;; it's pretty good for dry hair though...dry or damaged...but mine is oily and damaged which sucks because it's already so greasy if I don't wash it enough. @__@;; Random side note. I have never tried "BB Cream" before so I decided to snag a bottle of this stuff cheap on eBay:

I will do a review once I get it and try it for a week or two. Like I said, oily oily skin and hair for me, so I tried to find a BB Cream meant for oily skin. What say you all? Tried BB Creams? Like them? Love them? Hate them? Indifferent? Seems like a really overly hyped product IMHO but I guess I can't judge till I try! :3 Nyah!

Oh and bonus: I snagged some perfume for cheap, click read more to see! (This post is long enough as is!) ;____;

J'Adore by Christian Dior:
(and yes I know this bottle isn't the 3.4 oz one but I was lazy and googling, haha.)
$39.10 shipped on eBay!
Original price for 3.4oz on Sephora.com is $98. I saved $58.90!! xD

and

Dolce & Gabbana rose the one
$46 shipped on eBay!! Original price on Sephora.com is $95 for 2.5 oz. I saved $49!! :D

And I got both bottles in the mail today, with free samples, even. :D From US sellers. They weren't shady at all or anything and the perfume is legit. The Dior one was slightly used but it still had like 95% of the perfume remaining. The D&G one was totally new in box, even sealed with the wrapping paper and D&G sticker. Totally authentic.

Conclusion. eBay = win. xD

If you're looking to get pricey perfumes at half the cost or even better...check the eBay! :o)

That's all for now, thanks for tuning in to my ramblings! :]

Jeffrey Campbell Wishlist!

My latest addiction is definitely Jeffrey Campbell shoes. >D

I own 2 pairs right now, and I plan to get a lot more. I may need to start selling all of my old shoes on eBay to be able to finance this endeavor, haha.

The pairs I own now are the "Lita" in Taupe Suede:

I love how they go with practically everything! :D So on trend right now.

The first pair I got (wearing them right now actually!) are the "Suave" wedges.

Bought these from Modcloth.com using my epic discount of 10% off + free shipping. W00T.
I wear these with practically everything and they're a bit easier to walk in than the Lita's because of the lower height. :3

Do you have a Jeffrey Campbell wish list?

Click the Read More Button to see my wish list! :D

My next pair is definitely going to be the "Lana" in distressed black leather! :D

About to order these from Eilatan right now using some discount codes, muwhaha. :)

Eilatan is another great place to buy J.C. shoes! They have two purchase options. One is with return privileges (more expensive) and the other is without (cheaper) and since J.C.s tend to run true to size (from what I noticed), I'd recommend the no return option. Plus you could always sell to a friend or on eBay if you didn't like them. :x

Found on Karmaloop...these are the "Swan Lake" boots! <3 I want to buy them now but I am paranoid of the fit.... for the most part J.C. tends to run true to size but not sure about boots and the fact that I have slightly larger calves. O.O; Karmaloop has a great selection and if you use code "CHERRI82" you can get a 20% off discount. Same if you use code "VIP" I think....sadly they don't have free shipping though. Their shipping is by weight so it can get pretty expensive sometimes. Like $23 for a pair of shoes and a pair of boots. =___=;;

I've been wanting the "Michelle" ever since I saw it on Modcloth a while ago:

Specifically in that lovely gold color. I think modcloth called them the Unicorn Princess heels. I am SO mad I missed out on this style. I hope J.C. decides to re-release them. ;______; Boo! Want youuuu!

The "Skate" shoe is DEFINITELY high up on my Wishlist. In fact, I may need to pre-order a pair of the white ones as soon as humanly possible. ;___;

They are sold out everywhere! Grr!

Just for fun... the "Lita" in pink glitter. :) These would be so freaking fun to wear but sadly not too practical for every day wear unless I want to be walking bling bling. xD

"Mildred Paint"....omg....so freaking wild and probably would look silly with anything but skinny jeans but...DAMN. NEED. e____e;;

Speaking of out there....the "Benched" is another of my favorites. :x

They look scary and painful to walk in but really they are apparently super comfy. NEED!!

I could go for a pair of the "Foxy" in pink suede:

Or any color, really! The cheetah print or the floral print looks nice too....

And as if there wasn't enough Jeffrey Campbell lovin' in this post already.... check out Asami-san's blog:
http://pink-kitten.chu.jp/

She owns like 200+ pairs of J.C. shoes. O_O; I live vicariously through her epic shoe collection!!!
